Total Lunar Eclispe

 I came across this bit of news and as it a very rare occurrence i thought i would share.  Tomorrow the 21st December for the first time in 400 years there will be a total Lunar Eclipse coinciding with the winter solstice.  The sky will turn a deep red colour tomorrow morning.  The last time this was seen was in 1638 and the next one will be in 2094. Greatest Retro Toys

Toys of yesteryear are some of the best around from Barbie’s to Trivial Pursuit we all remember toys from our childhood many of which are still around today.  I remember the Furby coming out they sold out in a matter of days, everyone was desperate to get their hands on them reminded me of the action toy in the movie Jingle all the Way, with people on a mad dash to buy them in time for Christmas.  Oh and remember the Tamagotchi, the small handheld interactive pet that you would spend hours looking after. Bonfire night

Remember remember the 5th of November, Tonight is bonfire night and hopefully the weather will get better for tonight.  Mainly celebrated in the UK and former British colonies, Bonfire night or ‘Guy Fawkes night’ is celebrated with bonfire’s,  fireworks and penny for the guy.  Essentially Bonfire night is the anniversary of the failed gunpowder plot and the capture of  Britain’s most famous traitor ‘Guy Fawkes’. The Pumpkin Ghost

OK this is really random but a couple of years ago we were cutting our Pumpkin for Halloween as we do every year but for some reason i was compelled to take a photo of the inside don’t ask me why.  Anyways when we looked at the pictures later on look what appeared.

Happy Halloween
