I came across this bit of news and as it a very rare occurrence i thought i would share.  Tomorrow the 21st December for the first time in 400 years there will be a total Lunar Eclipse coinciding with the winter solstice.  The sky will turn a deep red colour tomorrow morning.  The last time this was seen was in 1638 and the next one will be in 2094.

The Eclipse will be seen in most parts of the world.  In the UK the moon will start to pass at 6.32 am and will reach the maximum effect between 8.17 am and 8.53 am.  So if your up and weather permits you might as well check it out it will be a long time before this can be seen again.  For more detailed information visit the source of this information  The Daily Mail

Please ignore the date on the post i had to re write it and upload it again as it got lost.  It was originally posted on the 20th December.

How many of you saw the Eclipse? I couldn’t see it because it was too cloudy.
